Rhythm + Flow is a new show on Netflix where new artists compete to win 250,000 dollars. Many people in the competition wanted the money so bad that in the show people had to leave because of the arguing, but we should understand that the money could help them invest in their rapping career and help their families. Most of the upcoming artists said they had been struggling, didn’t have much, and worked hard for what they do have.

In episode one, Cardi B, Chance The Rapper, Snoop Dog, and Ti were in Las Vegas. They invited a lot of people to come compete and show off their talents. During the show they gave good or bad feedback depending on the person’s performance. If they gave the contestant good feedback they thought that they did well and might have a chance of winning the prize.

If they didn’t think that the contestant was good enough or didn’t have a chance, they got eliminated and were asked to leave. Some people that had to leave in episode one took the constructive criticism well and left thinking positive, but others had some cocky attitudes and didn’t appreciate the blessing they had. 

The show is really inspiring and makes you want to be a rapper. If you don’t like rapping it also encourages you to follow your dreams and never give up. There are some sad moments in the show when the contestants talk about their families, like some people whose parents had died, and people who can’t afford to live or even went hungry.

This show taught the people who didn’t win life lessons. It taught them that even when something is hard you should still give 110% no matter what. It taught them that even though you are going through bad things in life it shouldn’t stop you from following your dreams.

At the end of the show in episode ten the remaining contestants wrote a song that tells about their past. The last four left performed at an award show.  When the artists were done performing, they chose one person to get 250,000 dollars. Cardi B and the other judges discussed how the people grew from when they first performed until now.  

By the end of the show, the artists had gotten better at their music They had even gotten better at performing. The last artist that they picked is who was the best out of the whole group. Out of all of them, this upcoming artist knew how to perform and rap without help and knew how to do lots of other things that involve music, and that’s what Cardi B, Chance The Rapper, and Ti were looking for.    

I recommend that everyone watch this show because it is very interesting. There are surprises that will make you want to watch the next episode and will make you want the next season to to hurry up and get filmed so that you could watch it. The show is so good that after you watch it you will never want to stop watching it.
