Adyra Fine is a senior starting her first year in The Southerner as a staff writer. She hopes to study journalism, so joining newspaper allows her to take a step towards her future. Fine is excited about sociology and how people interact with each other and hopes to delve deeper into that subject through her writing. She is also interested in writing about culture and pop culture and exploring social dynamics at South. 

Outside of The Southerner, Fine is both a varsity soccer and track captain. She is the Public Relations co-chair for Student Council, and is a member of Green Tigers. Fine enjoys biking, thrifting, going to concerts, and spending time with her friends and family.
