Alex Karlen is a junior at South High School and this is his first year working with the Southerner. He wants to improve his writing and interviewing skills. He looks forward to writing about his favorite sports teams. He plays soccer and ultimate frisbee in his free time. He likes watching movies, playing outside and eating food. He looks forward to working with Emery Taylor and Finn Davies.
