Andrew Godes, Opinions Editor
Andrew is a senior going into his second year on the Southerner as the opinions editor. Andrew originally joined the school newspaper because Pablo said he wouldn’t have to do anything. Pablo lied. However, Andrew ended up falling deeply in love with writing. His hero is Fred Hampton and he feels passionately about wealth inequality and social class struggles. He hopes to see more articles on the Southerner that spark dialogue or even controversy within the community. In his free time he enjoys skateboarding, rock-climbing, and hanging out with friends.
