Lisa Williams, Staff Writer
TV is good for you! Seriously, it is. Imagine being able to make your dreams come true by turning on your TV and watching you favorite show. Lisa Marie Williams, a sophomore at South high school finds inspiration for the stories she writes by watching superhero shows like Arrow and the Flash. Lisa joined South High’s newspaper because of her passion for writing fiction and most importantly to her, writing about real world issues like mental illness. She finds that her ability to connect with people on a personal level, early on in a relationship, one of the advantages for writing about real world problems. Now, Lisa is not all write, write, and write all the time. Lisa is looking forward to going to undergraduate school for four years to get a bachelor’s degree in nursing, then go on to earn her master’s degree. All Lisa wants to do is help people; no wonder she watches all those superhero shows! Considering writing is such a passion in Lisa’s life, she wouldn’t want to give that up, “I think if I decide I don’t want to be a nurse, writing would definitely be awesome”. As a writer, her goal would be to get a book published, even if it was just one. I can’t wait to see where Lisa goes in her future.
