Emery Taylor is a junior at South High School and this is his first year with The Southerner. In his first year with the newspaper, he is looking to improve his writing skills, and write about sports. In his free time, he is on the swim team and works as a lifeguard. He enjoys listening to music and watching movies. He looks forward to working with Alex Karlen and Finn Davies.
