Lo Norvell is a senior at South High School entering her 3rd year in journalism as editor of the multimedia platform as well as the news section, with hopes to expand the South High podcast, add more engaging interviews, and cover interesting and relevant South topics. She is also a part of South High's ultimate frisbee team, who are coming off back-to-back state championships. Furthermore, she can often be found exploring and nourishing her love of the outdoors with activities like ice dipping, hiking, and camping, which has made her very passionate about important issues such as environmental protection and climate change. She channels her love of the outdoors through camp counseling each summer. She loves her friends, Bubbl'r, and trying new things.

A weekend full of tiger spirit, this year’s homecoming game and dance headlined the fall school experience. “We felt like after Covid there’s been kind of a lack of school spirit and so we wanted to bring it back,” said Student Council co-president Neela Hammer. “‘All out’ is like going above and beyond and making things as fun as possible.”

Many cosmetic products are created using animal testing. Using these methods is often very dangerous for the animals and can lead to inhumane practices or animal cruelty. However, these products are also in high demand due to US consumerism and the desire of corporations to generate more and more profit. “For companies, I think finding more natural ways and more humane ways of doing it should be something that they strive to do,” says sophomore Arabella Fracisco.
