Sanders, who also ran in the 2016 presidential election, is know for his far left political views. He supports Medicare-For-All, free college tuition, the Green New Deal, and tax increases for the wealthy. A longtime advocate for social and economic justice, Sanders follows the ideology of Democratic Socialism. Although seen as a Progressive, Sanders has been criticized for his campaign’s mishandling of a sexual harassment case during his 2016 run for election as well as his age. If elected, Sanders would beat Trump for being the oldest United States President.
